Family and friends are very welcome.  There is no additional entry fee but collection boxes will be available should they wish to make a donation.

Orchestral Workshop on Sunday 19th September 2010.

All instruments and standards welcome.

This workshop will be run jointly by Philip Heyman and Ross Cohen from WNO. As well as opportunities for ensemble work, there will be a recital from these two dynamic violists at the end of the morning.

Music Event on Saturday 18th September 2010.

An invitation to perform in a relaxed, informal atmosphere.

All instruments and standards welcome – pianists will get to play on a fantastic Bosendorfer Grand Piano!

There will be opportunities to perform solo and with others (duets/trios etc) - and hopefully we will end the day with a Scratch Orchestra/Choir.

For instrumentalists, note that there are at least two accompanists available for this event so just turn up and play!

There is no strict schedule to the day and no pressure to perform – just see how the mood takes you.

St Luke’s Chapel is a fantastic venue with great acoustics – recently refurbished and able to cater for large groups of people.  The Hospital Chaplaincy has kindly agreed to hire out the venue for musical events and this is the 3rd event that I am hosting here this year.  We have raised over £200 for charity so far from the generosity of local musicians and members of the ABRSM Forums.

Please fill in and return the application form(s) to reserve your place!

Closing date 1st August 2010.

Looking forward to welcoming you all to Cardiff.
